Rico Blanco, who boosted his first solo foray Your Universe with hit singles such as “Yugto,” the title track and “Antukin,” is set to release his second solo album entitled Galaktik Fiestamatik. The launching single off that album “Amats” just debuted on some of the country’s top radio stations.

The album was reportedly performed and recorded on his own studio attic all by himself. According to a press release put out by Warner Music Philippines, his record label and management arm, Blanco went into mad scientist mode and employed a lot of unusual instruments and aimed for a more abrasive and unorthodox approach.
